有網民相當眼利，發現Now新聞台於7.22元朗襲擊網上直播片段中，有七分鐘突然離奇消失。由於有關片段相當敏感，或與黑社會及警察合作有關，故????少人懷疑是否Facebook大玩河蟹。我們winandmac Media記者向香港Facebook查詢時，得到的回應如下，堅持沒有刪除now新聞台直播任何內容。至於為什麼這麼剛好剪走有關警黑合作部份，則沒有回應。
由於now新聞台很早便強調他們沒有主動刪除內容，如今Facebook又否認，令當中消失的7分鐘內容成謎。Facebook香港就winandmac Media查詢時官方回應原文如下：
“Facebook Live 是用戶可以彼此即時連繫及分享影片的主要模式，新聞機構及媒體可以通過 Facebook Live 分享即時新聞。就此次NOW TV的直播事件，Facebook 在此確認我們並未中斷，移除或修改 NOW TV直播的任何內容。我們已就事件與 NOW 取得聯絡，並將根據已有調查資料作進一步調查。”
“Facebook Live is a core video format that gives people around the world a way to connect and share in real time, and news organizations and journalists turn to Facebook Live to share breaking news stories as they are happening. In this instance, we did not interrupt, remove or modify any content of the live streaming. We have contacted the partner and will work with them to further investigate this issue.“
