蘋果於較早前向外公開,稱美國政府要求他們降低裝置的安全性,以便讓法律機構在有需要時進行調查。然而,蘋果大力反對,因為這等同裝後門,最終一定影響用家安全。Google CEO Sundar Pichai在過了多個小時後,終於也對此情況作出回應。
基本上,Sundar回應的與蘋果所說的差不多,都是以用家安全為先,不應加裝任何不安全的後門。值得一提的是,Sundar除了使用Twitter平台五段訊息發表是次意見外,還特別提到Tim Cook。
