早前荷里活明星Ryan投資的新iPhone鍵盤配件Typo Products被BlackBerry控告，原因是因為其配件涉嫌侵犯BlackBerry專利。結果BlackBerry勝訴，並成功阻止Typo Products繼續售賣。
BlackBerry對於裁決當然十分高興，被指成功阻止BlackBerry的專利被人偷用。Typo Products除了以失望回應外，並指會上訴，繼續向顧客售賣有創意的産品。
